After 7 Months...

217 days or 31 weeks or 7 months and 5 days since Deputy Presidential Spokesman Abegaile Valte announced a story about 3 bonuses for government employees coming December 2012: the 13th month pay, the Productivity Enhancement Incentive, and the Performance Based Bonus.


These bonuses she said will be released by the end of the year.

91 days or 13 weeks or 3 months since DBM Secretary Butch Abad announced that the Performance Based Incentive System up and running with a release of P831.8 million to date.

“We commend all departments, agencies, and GOCCs that successfully complied with their requirements, and whose employees were among the first to receive their PBB,” the Secretary said.

The Department of Budget and Management at the time remained incomplete and dry.

On June 21, 2013, DBM employees finally have their Performance Based Bonus.

Everyone is happy. 

Until they noticed the taxes.
